This is a pre-wallwart DOD Regulated Power
Supply. (It came with a DOD 250 Overdrive Preamp pedal that I stupidly
sold off years ago, and it's been sitting on my shelf since.) It has
surprisingly few markings on it (such as a product or serial number),
but is labeled 10 volts, 50 MA and NEG. GND. It delivers power through
one of four mini-plugs like they used to used before the industry
standardized on those barrel plugs they use now. |

Plush P3 Power Station
 |
|
|
The Plush P3 Power Supply™ is a
self-contained DC power supply, which provides 9-VDC of regulated and
filtered DC power to up to 1500 ma (1.5 amps) of pedals. The patented P3
Power technology:
http://www.p3dals.com/ is designed to power a pedal board without
batteries or extra cables, and operates the pedals via a single
audio/power cable. P3 completely does away with the need for batteries,
battery cables, "wall-warts," extension cords or power strips. P3
is available as an upgrade for most pedals, and there's also an external
power kit available for use with unmodified pedals. P3 is fully
backwards compatible: It will work with and even remotely power non-P3
pedals. P3 does not alter audio circuitry or harm the tone in any way
and may in fact improve sound quality and performance as it eliminates
battery voltage droop along with the batteries. Several pedal makers and
service centers are authorized to perform P3 upgrades to existing
pedals, and P3 is being included in some guitar amplifiers. As
universally useful and beneficial as P3 is, we expect it will become a
standard, becoming to guitar pedals what phantom power is to mixers and
microphones. The P3 power supply has a standard IEC style power
connector, and automatically switches from 100/120 to 220/240 volt AC
lines. The P3 Power Supply features two outputs: the P-32 phantom
output, as well as a traditional (Boss style) connector, which allows P3
and non-P3 equipped pedals to coexist on a pedal board. Patch cables or
the P3 Power Splitter can be used to feed multiple P3 and non-P3 pedals
from the power supply outputs. The power supply is self-protected
against over current and output shorts, automatically turning off under
fault conditions. The P3 Power Supply is made in the USA. |

8 separate 9V |
Nil |
PB-1 is a power supply for
guitar effects with 9V direct current (DC). It has eight full
galvanically separated outputs which enable to built professional guitar
systems without ground loops. Using proper adapters PB-1 enables also to
obtain voltages 12V, 15V and 18V DC. It is worldwide voltage compatible
(nominal line voltage from 100V to 230V) by connecting the mains cable
(attached to the packet) with a connector appropriate for a given
country.

The Fade Box allows you to simulate worn
batteries or Fading batteries,
which is useful in transistor-based fuzz and distortion circuits.
The Fade Box has four-output connectors that provide 8,7,6 and 5 volts
DC.
These are fixed voltage
You can use more then one output to run different pedals at the same
time
- no pots to adjust - so once you find the one you like you can stick
with it for great constant tone.
Works on any 9 volt DC power supply like VooDoo labs, The Brick, The

Mr Eight
by
DNA Analogic
 |
Eight |
|
Mr. Eight is a cordless power supply that runs of an internal,
rechargable battery. It can provide power to eight effects with a total
current draw of 300 mA for up to 4 hours of continuous use. Mr. Eight
also features an internal voltage stabilizer which assures clean,
consistent power to your effects at all times. With Mr. Eight the user
can plug in and play anywhere in the world with reliable, noise-free
performance!
Mr. Eight features six 9V DC power outputs as well as two "Dry" outputs.
The Dry outputs run at slightly lower voltage and are designed for
powering overdrive and distortion units to achieve the "sag" associated
with a worn-out 9 volt battery. In addition, Mr. Eight comes with a
variety of jumper cables to connect your effects as well as a 9 volt AC
adaptor to charge the unit. Use Mr. Eight as your standard power source
too, as he is not only limited to cordless apllications. He is an
all-around good-guy. |
ModTone Power Plant
 |
Five outputs are switch able from 9vdc to
12vdc, two feature SAG controls to go from 4v-9vdc, |
9v AC output |
The ModTone Power Plant is professional
quality power supply for the discriminating player. The ModTone Power
Plant features a torroidal transformer with eight isolated outputs. The
Power Plant is designed to be used in conjunction with almost any pedal
you can put on your pedal-board. Each output is isolated and designed to
operate without adding any noise to your signal path. |
|
Moen Power Station
 |
9V, 12V |
|
Manual
The MOEN Power
Station is specially designed for pedal board, which provide regulated
DC 9V and DC 12V with maximum 800mA, two AC outlets allow those pedals
(like some tube drive pedal) with unpopular power supply to be plugged
in. The ground check circuit is very helpful when you want to check if
the AC line is grounded well, it's very important to cancel noise and
protect all the powered pedals and devices. The volume meter dynamically
shows the signal. The ampere meter monitors the current consumption of
all pedals. The overcurrent protection circuit will instantly shut off
DC output when exception happens (for example, a reverse polarity
powered pedal is mis-plugged in), it protects the pedals from damage

Audio Electronics MC-403
 |
|
|
The MC-403 Power System -
a collaboration between Bob Bradshaw and the MXR design team. The MC-403
powers more types of pedals and electronics at one time than any
previous power supply unit available. High quality, high performance
toroidal transformers insure quiet operation with superior performance
capabilities. Designed for maximum flexibility, the MC-403 can be used
on pedal boards or rack mounted in a single rack space with the front
mount bracket (included). All multi-tap outputs are completely isolated,
linear regulated, and short-circuit protected to insure reliable
operation. Enclosed in a heavy-duty housing, the MC-403 is designed for
years of rugged road or studio use.
CONTROLS: 17 Outputs total

Snake Power from

SnakePOWER Supply; no cable or plug =
cleaner wiring; 500mA!...the most of any true isolated Class 2
Transformer, dead quiet for audio. Input: 120VAC; Output: 9VDC.
SnakePOWER Supply, no cable or plug =
cleaner wiring. 500mA! For audio, and especially in high-gain guitar
rigs, isolated Class 2 Transformers are the quietest. Other supplies may
deliver more current, and take up less space on a power strip, but real
"heavy iron" transformers are the best for now noise, and for keeping
grounds isolated. And with its 500mA rating, SnakePOWER delivers more
current than any 9VDC transformer-type supply on the market.
Cleans up your backline cabling...Use MM1
or MM2-I PLines (male-male) to plug directly into the female jack!
Powers 15-20 "9V battery" (low power) stomp boxes.
Even owers Line6 modelers (use 2125AR and 21RP at the pedal).
INPUT: 120VAC. OUTPUT: 9VDC. UL/CUL. Isolated Class 2 Transformer (quiet
for audio). |

There are a million single outlet power

Apparently this is the power supply that
Tom Morello uses. After a long period considering my options this
is the pedal power supply that I ended up getting. I would have
been happy with the Burkey Flatliner but I thought the dimensions were
all wrong - at 7 cm high it was not going to fit under my Pedal Train 2.
I also considered a T-Rex Fuel Tank - and had considerable gas for one
but the reviews at HC were equivocal especially regarding noise. In the
end the decision was for the Voodoo because of the isolated outputs,
