The Standard
This instrument was the beginning for
Belman electric basses, built and tested by musicians with
trial and error of pickups, preamps, etc. until we found what
we believed to be the best combination to create a wide range
of useable tones.

The Custom Special
Follows the same design ideas as The
Standard but it’s a little different. This one features a
bookmatched top, giving the instrument extra string definition
and a more pronounced tone.

The Custom Limited
The Custom Limited is exactly what it
means – limited. We purchase timber from all over the world
and once in a while we find a rare board with exceptional curl
and figure. These are kept aside for these small run
instruments.

BMJ 35
This bass has a sound like no other in
our range. The extra-long scale gives this instrument a
tighter, more defined B-string with extra punch and attack
(only available in 5 string).

Master Series
The Master Series basses are our flagship
in bass building. Constructed using a multiple laminate
neck-through body construction, with our select tone wood body
wings glued on to complete the instrument. These basses are
made from top-of-the-line exotic timbers, with a look and feel
to match.

- 5 (4 & 5 string models) or 7 (6
string model) piece neck construction of Wenge & Maple or
Blackwood, Wenge, Zebrano or Bubinga
- 3-piece body construction
- Back wood: Mahogany, Alder, Blackwood, Bubinga, Swamp Ash
- Tone plate: Wenge, Mahogany, Maple
- Top wood: anything goes!

CLASSIC |

Classic 4
As the name indicates this bass caters to
the player that prefers a traditional looking and feeling
instrument. The neck profile will feel very familiar and
comfortable to anyone that has a preference for the classic
instruments of past era's. The Belman Classic is available in
a range vintage colours. Featuring a Belman "Brick" (humbucker)
and "Jazz" pickup combination with blend control, together
with the Belman Preamp and 2 band EQ.

Classic 5
Adding more versatility for the modern
player is the 5 string classic, featuring the same look and
feel with that extra low end thump.

This bass was made by Anthony when
he was still in his mum's garage!
