Manufacture commenced "2001",
Dating is done..' a few different ways, mostly by box
size/artwork and knobs... but there is not definitive way the
user can tell the date of manufacture. The serial numbers are
meaningful to us, but not necessarily to anyone else." [Source:

Production commenced 1993. The date is not coded into the
serial number. I use serial numbers in the form:
MMM-NNN
Where MMM is a 3-digit model
identifier, and NNN is a serial number, starting at 1 for the
first one built. Model numbers are as follows:
200 = Imperial
300 = Continental
325 = Continental Combo
400 = Galaxy
500 = Comet
600 = Meteor (series I)
700 = Meteor (series II)

"I started building in 1994.
I am located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
The first dozen or so amplifiers I built had 'serial numbers'
and a year handwritten inside the chassis. The panel will be
black lettering silkscreened on a gray background. After that,
there is absolutely no written serial number, date, or any other
markings inside or outside the chassis. The only way to tell is
by an experienced eye. The first dozen or so amplifiers all
looked like a tweed Fender, but were covered in different
colored vinyls. The next 'batch' of two-dozen or so looked like
silver-face Fender combos, and could have been made by me up
until 2000. The panel will be a laser-engraved plastic unit that
looks like a Hi-Watt. The final batch a dozen or so were heads
that looked like a Marshall, and were made up until 2005. This
was done to have a cheaper selling price, and allow the customer
to use his own speaker choices. The panel will be laser-engraved
on a brass backing. Again, there will be no marking identifying
a year or serial number. These amplifier were just made mostly
'on spec' (just to see if they would sell) and eventually sold
through various local music stores or as a demo model through my
web site. Whatever it took to get them sold. After the last one
sold, I took a holiday that continues to this day."
