Maryland Drum
Co, Baltimore,, USA. Handcrafted drums since 1986.
Looks like they may have folded in 2007 as no internet archive
pages are available beyond that year. Reports on forums
also suggest the company stopped support around then.

Mastro Snare Drums |
Mastro Snare Drums started in
1997, Sandown Village, Victoria, Australia.
"All the drums are built in a
workshop at the back of my house, this is to keep the cost of
the drums down. It cuts the cost down more then 40%. You
can recognize a Mastro snare from the brass bronze or copper
name badge they all are fitted with a round badge.
Dating Mastro Snare Drums
Many of the snare drums over the $ 1000.00AUD mark have a serial
number and a date stamp inside the drum, attached to the snare
action. The under $ 1000.00 and custom made drum also have
serial number. The rest no serial number but you can
recognise Mastro snare by the badge which is a unique mark for
Mastro Snare.
For the second hand drum buyer , our drums are well recognisable.
We are the only manufacturer making 2mm and 3mm brass bronze and
copper shells . [Source: Lucio Mastro, email 19/1/2011]
